Vocational Training

Building Skills, Building Futures

Across Pakistan, women from marginalized and economically disadvantaged communities face steep barriers to education, employment, and independence. Deep-rooted social norms often confine them to the home, and for women with disabilities, these challenges are compounded by stigma, exclusion, and lack of accessibility. ARPD's Vocational Training Center was created to change that story — offering a genuine pathway out of dependency and into dignity for marginalized women and women with disabilities alike, one skill at a time.

Our Programs

We offer comprehensive programs tailored to foster independence and sustainable livelihoods:

Hands-On Training, Real Opportunity

Our Vocational Training Center offers accessible, subsidized training across a range of accredited trades — including tailoring and garment making, jewelry design and crafting, and cosmetology and beauty care, among others. The program is open to marginalized women and women with disabilities, with facilities and instruction designed to be genuinely accessible for all participants. Every course is taught by skilled instructors in safe, fully equipped spaces, combining classroom learning with extensive hands-on practice — so graduates leave with real, marketable experience, not just theory.

Hands-On Training, Real Opportunity
More Than a Certificate

More Than a Certificate

Every graduate of ARPD's program leaves with an accredited qualification from the Peshawar Skill Development Council — but the impact goes far deeper than paperwork. Women gain the tools to earn sustainable incomes, support their families, and break cycles of poverty. Just as importantly, they gain confidence, identity, and a stronger voice in their communities. Many go on to launch small home-based businesses or freelance services, and become visible role models who inspire other women to pursue the same path.

A Platform for Lasting Change

ARPD sees vocational training as more than a skills program — it's a platform for systemic change. Graduates form peer-support networks, sharing resources and encouragement as they build their futures. By equipping marginalized women and women with disabilities with certified skills and real economic opportunity, ARPD works toward a Pakistan where every person, regardless of background or ability, is recognized as an equal contributor to their community's progress.
