Across Pakistan, millions of families face overlapping crises — extreme poverty, food insecurity, water scarcity, displacement, and chronic unemployment. These hardships fall hardest on the most vulnerable: daily wage workers, widows, orphans, persons with disabilities, and families uprooted by disaster. ARPD's Community Relief Program was built to meet these urgent needs head-on, combining immediate, life-saving aid with longer-term support that helps families move from crisis to stability. Rooted in compassion and social justice, the program reaches communities that are too often overlooked, offering not just relief, but a genuine pathway back to dignity.
We focus our relief efforts where they are needed the most, supporting families to transition from survival to stability:
ARPD provides ration food packages year-round, along with large-scale Ramadan food drives and Qurbani meat distributions that bring protein and nourishment to families who otherwise go without. Clean water is delivered through well and borehole installations in underserved villages, along with drinking water systems in schools, reducing waterborne illness and easing the burden that falls disproportionately on women and children. During harsh winters, ARPD distributes blankets, warm clothing, and bedding to families, orphanages, and shelters, ensuring that no one is left exposed to the cold without support.
As one of the most disaster-prone countries in the region, Pakistan is regularly struck by devastating floods that displace entire communities. ARPD responds swiftly with emergency relief camps offering food rations, hygiene kits, bedding, and clothing, alongside mobile medical camps that treat the outbreaks of illness that so often follow flooding. Beyond the immediate crisis, ARPD constructs modest, permanent homes for families who have lost everything — restoring not just shelter, but the safety and stability needed to rebuild their lives.
For widows, orphans, and families facing sudden financial shocks, ARPD provides direct financial assistance covering food, education, healthcare, and daily living costs. Persons with disabilities who face barriers to mainstream employment receive targeted support to meet essential needs, while ARPD's Wheelchair Donation Program restores mobility and independence to those excluded from education, work, and community life. Together, these efforts help families move beyond survival — toward stability, inclusion, and a future built on dignity rather than dependency.
