Building a world where every child learns together, regardless of their physical abilities.
At ARPD, we believe education is a right — not a privilege reserved only for those who can afford it or for children without disabilities. Our Inclusive School System welcomes children who are often overlooked by mainstream schools: children with disabilities and children from underserved households. Here, every child learns side by side, in an environment built for them to belong. Guided by the principles of equity, accessibility, and dignity, our school directly contributes to United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4.
Our classrooms are physically accessible and our learning materials adapted to support diverse learners, including children with mobility, speech, and developmental needs. We provide our students with free uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, stationery, and shoes, so that the cost of basic school supplies is never the reason a child stops learning. ARPD Inclusive School System is registered with the Private Schools Regulatory Authority (PSRA), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Inclusion only works when teachers are prepared for it. Our faculty receives ongoing professional development in inclusive education practices, learning how to adapt lessons and create classrooms where every child can participate meaningfully. Education at ARPD also extends beyond academics: through arts, creative activities, and life-skills sessions, students build the resilience, self-belief, and social awareness they need to participate fully in their communities.
Each year, our Inclusive School System serves an average of 250 students from across Peshawar and its surrounding communities, bringing together children with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities alongside children from low-income and labor-class households. Across Pakistan, children with disabilities remain among the least likely to receive a quality education, and when poverty is added to disability, the gap only widens. Inclusive education changes that — telling every child, regardless of ability or background, that they are welcome, capable, and that their future matters.
