Vocational Training

In Pakistan, many women—particularly those from low-income backgrounds and those living with disabilities—face limited access to education and employment. Without practical skills or formal recognition, economic independence often remains out of reach.

To address this gap, the Association for the Rehabilitation of the Physically Disabled (ARPD) operates a dedicated Vocational Training Center within its rehabilitation facility in Peshawar, integrating skills development into its broader rehabilitation and empowerment services.

Tailoring & Dress Designing

Professional training in garment stitching, pattern cutting, and modern dress designing techniques for income generation.

Cosmetology & Beauty Services

Hands-on training in beauty therapy, skincare, and salon management within a functional beauty salon training unit.

Jewelry-Making & Creative Crafts

Creative training in handmade jewelry and craft production designed to encourage entrepreneurship and small business development.

The center includes a structured tailoring workshop, a functional beauty salon training unit, and designated craft space, all designed to provide hands-on, professionally supervised instruction focused on income generation and entrepreneurship.

ARPD is officially registered with the Skill Development Council (SDC) Peshawar. Upon successful completion of approved courses, graduates receive recognized certification that enhances employability and strengthens their ability to pursue sustainable livelihoods.
