ARPD’s Mayo Hospital Program
At ARPD, a large portion of our mission is helping persons with disabilities and increasing their mobility. In this spirit, we have established a special operation at Mayo Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan, where we provide artificial limbs to those who need them the most. Mayo Hospital, with an average of 2000 patients a day, stands as one of the oldest and largest healthcare institutions in Punjab. We are proud to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mayo Hospital, allowing us to extend our charitable services to the patients who seek care there.
In the heart of Punjab, many individuals and families face the harsh realities of poverty. In rural areas, medical services are often unavailable and unaffordable, leaving people with disabilities in dire need of assistance. Mayo Hospital, a renowned institution, offers hope to many, drawing patients from far and wide to receive medical attention. Our Mayo Hospital Program follows a comprehensive process to provide artificial limbs to those in need. Our dedicated staff at Mayo Hospital conducts initial consultations and medical evaluations, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized care they deserve. We take precise measurements and select appropriate materials to design prosthetic limbs that fit our patients perfectly. These design specifications are then sent to ARPD’s own manufacturing workshop, located in our Empowerment Center in Peshawar, Pakistan.

Here, our skilled craftsmen bring the designs to life, crafting prosthetic limbs of the highest quality.
Once the prosthetic limb is ready, we send it to Mayo Hospital, where our staff conducts fitting and alignment, gait training, and rehabilitation. We leave no stone unturned in fine-tuning the prosthetic to ensure it provides the maximum benefit and comfort for the patient.
We are thrilled to extend our benevolent reach to the deserving people of Punjab, Pakistan. In line with ARPD’s humanitarian mission, all of our services are provided at absolutely no cost to the patient.
The Mayo Hospital Program is a testament to our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those facing mobility challenges. We are honored to be part of their journey towards a better, more fulfilling life. Join us in supporting this vital initiative and be a part of the positive change we bring to  Pakistan. Together, we can make a real impact on the lives of those in need.
