KARAK CAMP

Association for Rehabilitation of the Physically Disabled – ARPD in collaboration with local Rehabilitation organization, on September 30th held a free Physiotherapy and Medical camp at Zamindar House, Official Colony Karak.

According to the registered data more than 400 patients were given free treatment and medicine while the specialist Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, and Doctors personally examined the patients in the daylong activity.

ARPD President Ms. Anjum Anwar said that in outreach camps we provide free medical diagnoses, treatment, and care to the poor and needy people at their doorsteps. Here in Karak, four hundred patients were examined and free of cast medicine were provided to them.

She added that today we provided huge services to the poor people of the area where four hundred patients were examined and free of cast medicine were provided to them. We have also plan for more free Physiotherapy and medical camps to be held in the different remote areas of the region in the future.

A visiting team of journalists said that the free Physiotherapy and medical camp was aimed to provide medical facilities to the people of the remote areas at their doorsteps and added that such camps will help to provide awareness of disability and reduce the different diseases in the area.

Meanwhile, local people of the area highly appreciated the efforts of ARPD for organizing such Physiotherapy and medical camps in the area and said that free camps would reduce the health problems of the people of the region.
